This
is another shot of Ayres Hall, this one also includes the rest of the buildings
on the Hill, with Lake Loudon in the background. As historic as it
is, and as beautiful from the outside; on the inside, Ayres is slowly falling
apart. As home to the College of Arts and Sciences, and the departments
of Mathematics and Computer Science, I think it is disgraceful that this
wonderful old building is falling into disrepair. Perhaps the University's
money would be better spent renovating this landmark rather than overshadowing
with the horribly ugly new Science and Engineering Building. (half of which
now stands unused) Just my $0.02...
